Easter 2012

One of the unique things about our church is that for Easter, we go away together on retreat. We pack up our cars and head about 40 minutes northwest of Waco to Three Mountain Retreat Center, and spend the weekend together.  This was our second Easter to spend with Hope Fellowship on the Easter retreat. It is always such a special and wonderful time. We worshipped together on Friday at a Good Friday service, spent Saturday laughing, hiking, praying, singing, and playing (and of course enjoying the annual Lack-of-Talent Show), and spent Sunday morning in worship, having brunch, and Easter-egg-hunting! It was a rich, life-giving time with this community of people we love so dearly!  Here are a few pictures from the weekend:

On Saturday, the youth hung out with the kiddos, so the parents could go have some "off" time. It was great!
